Actually … I would, if it was a good enough sticker. Dude, it’s a CAR. Who cares?

Should "Oh Canada" become more gender neutral? →
Yes, there are huge problems going on in the world. Yes, changing the lyrics may seem symbolic and abstract … but we have to remember that language isn’t just some neutral entity. Humans shape it - but established language also shapes us and our opinions.

More adulthood whining
Dancing around the store makes me want to go to a swing club tonight or something. Really wanna go dancing with someone. Unfortunately, tonight I have to have one of those relationship talks. *sigh* I have a feeling it’s either going to leave me too tired or too sad to go out afterwards … .
Sorry to be whiny today. Tomorrow I get a day off for the first time in 3 weeks; I think that...

He is either a rapist, or he is going to be one. I’d arrest him if I could, but since I can’t and people take Free Speech to all kinds of limits, I say someone should really keep an eye on him and check his past records. In his defence, probably, “I didn’t really rape her — I know she wanted it”, no?
I don’t even know if this is authentic. Yes, I am that incredulous.
Let’s just set the...

Trying to soothe the frustrations of adulthood
I have to spend this beautiful sunny day working for 10 straight hours. *sigh* Making up for it by putting on Nina Simone and dancing around the store. This helps.

In this humorous 12 minute video, sent in by Martha, Lindsay Ellis asks why it is that female characters in general-audience cartoons, if present at all, are always plot points for the male characters. Her point is clearly sound, but damn does she marshal the evidence! She appears to have really done her homework… but I have no doubt that those of you who are experts in My Little Pony,...

What’s your favorite season of the year?
When I lived in Ohio, autumn was my favorite season. I loved the colors! The way the sun was bright but less intense.
In Austin, autumn is not really worth mentioning. I’m very nostalgic. I guess in Texas, my favorite season is spring. Winter is finally over, but it’s not 120 degrees yet.
